Official email: chattyshop.qa@gmail.com. Business address and Commercial Registration No.: 167869. Building No.: 230. Street No.: 785. Zone No.: 74.
1.4 Nothing in these Terms shall be interpreted as excluding any mandatory consumer rights under the laws in force in the State of Qatar. In the event of a conflict, mandatory legal provisions shall prevail.
2. Eligibility to Purchase and Registration
2.1 Customers must be at least 18 years old or make purchases through a parent, guardian, or duly authorized representative. Guest checkout is permitted where made available on the website.
2.2 Customers must provide accurate and complete information, particularly the recipient’s name, phone number, zone, street, building, and an address description sufficient to enable delivery.
2.3 The confirmation and registration of an order do not prevent the Company from contacting the customer to correct a material error or verify product availability, while preserving the customer’s cancellation and refund rights.
3. Accounts and Passwords
3.1 Customers must protect their account credentials, refrain from sharing verification codes or passwords, and notify the Company promptly upon becoming aware of any unauthorized activity.
3.2 An account may be temporarily suspended for security reasons or suspected fraudulent activity, without prejudice to rights arising from paid orders or pending complaints.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 Photographs, designs, text, Chatty logos, and trademarks belonging to product suppliers are owned by their respective rights holders or used under license.
4.2 Viewing and personal, non-commercial use are permitted. Copying or commercial republication without permission from the rights holder is prohibited.
5. Prohibited Use of the Website
5.1 Fraud, website hacking, misuse of discounts, identity impersonation, distribution of malicious software, and submission of unlawful content are prohibited.
5.2 The Company may reject or review an order where misuse is reasonably suspected, provided that the customer is notified and any sums legally due are refunded.
6. Communication Channels and Published Content
6.1 The Company may be contacted through its official accounts, Contact page, and WhatsApp. Customers should not send full card numbers or passwords in messages.
6.2 Opinions published by users do not represent those of the Company. Abusive or misleading content may be hidden in accordance with the law.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
7.1 The website may use Shopify, payment gateways, delivery companies, and performance analytics services. The technical processing performed by these services is subject to their relevant policies and terms.
7.2 The Company is not responsible for errors in content provided by independent third parties beyond its control. This does not release the Company from its legal responsibilities for orders contracted with customers.
8. Advertising and Promotional Offers
8.1 Offers are subject to the dates, quantities, and conditions published with them. Discounts do not apply to delivery charges unless expressly stated otherwise.
8.2 Vouchers or offers that are not combinable may not be combined. The value of a returned item is calculated on the basis of the amount actually paid, with any bundle promotion recalculated fairly.
9. Website Availability and Customer Service
9.1 The website may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or technical faults. Such interruptions do not extinguish the Company’s obligations relating to confirmed orders.
9.2 Complaints and support requests may be submitted through the Contact page or WhatsApp at +974 7082 1746, quoting the order number where available.
10. Product Specifications and Prices
10.1 The Company endeavors to display products accurately, indicating the brand, model, dimensions, and features where available. Illustrative images and depicted accessories are not included in the order unless the product description expressly states that they are included.
10.2 Colors and RGB lighting may appear differently on different screens. Non-material variations are not considered defects; the customer’s rights remain protected where there is a material difference from what was advertised.
10.3 Where an obviously incorrect price is discovered before fulfillment, the correct price will be presented to the customer, who may agree to proceed or cancel the order and receive a full refund of any amount paid without deduction of payment-processing fees.
10.4 Prices are displayed in Qatari riyals. Shipping charges, taxes, or other fees, if any, will be disclosed before payment is confirmed.
11. Inventory and Order Confirmation
11.1 All products are subject to stock availability. Certain colors, sizes, or versions may have separate inventory levels.
11.2 If a product cannot be supplied after payment, an alternative will be offered subject to the customer’s consent, or the amount due will be refunded without any deduction for a product that was not delivered.
11.3 Reasonable limits may be imposed on purchase quantities where such limits are clearly disclosed.
12. Shipping, Delivery, and Assembly
12.1 Delivery is available only within the State of Qatar. International shipping is not offered unless the Company expressly announces a different service.
12.2 The stated operational target is same-day delivery for small and medium-sized products and next-day delivery for large products, depending on the time of order approval, readiness, location, and business days. These delivery times are estimates and not absolute guarantees.
12.3 The final estimated delivery time and shipping charges are displayed at checkout and may vary according to the address and nature of the shipment. Customers will be notified of any material delay without prejudice to their statutory rights.
12.4 Customers must check the dimensions of desks and chairs and their suitability for doorways, elevators, and the intended place of use, and notify Customer Service of any access difficulties before delivery.
12.5 If the Company offers assembly or installation for a particular product, the cost and scope of that service will be specified before it is provided. Assembly performed by the Company before delivery does not constitute use by the customer and does not extinguish the customer’s rights.
12.6 If delivery cannot be completed because the address information is incorrect or the recipient is absent, another delivery time will be arranged and any additional charge will be disclosed before approval, without prejudice to mandatory rights.
13. Cancellation Before Delivery
13.1 Customers may request cancellation before delivery through Customer Service. Where cancellation is accepted before fulfillment, all amounts paid will be refunded in full without deduction of payment-gateway fees.
13.2 Once a product has been dispatched or delivered, the return provisions in Clause 16 apply, without restricting any statutory right of cancellation.
14. Defects, Non-Conformity, and Transit Damage
14.1 If a product arrives defective, damaged in transit, or materially different from its advertised specifications, the consumer may request the appropriate remedy under the law, including repair, replacement, or a refund, as the circumstances require.
14.2 The customer shall not bear collection, shipping, or repair costs where a manufacturing defect, error by the Company, or transit damage occurring before delivery is established.
14.3 Damage caused by misuse, exceeding load limits, exposing electrical components to liquids contrary to instructions, or modifying the product without authorization is not considered a manufacturing defect, without affecting the right to request a fair inspection.
15. Refunds
15.1 The amount due will be refunded after the request is approved and the returned product is inspected where necessary, using the original payment method whenever possible. Where this is not possible, a secure alternative method will be agreed with the customer in writing.
15.2 Payment-gateway processing fees shall not be deducted from amounts due upon cancellation of a paid order or where the product is proven defective or non-conforming.
15.3 The amount may appear in the customer’s account approximately 7–14 business days after the refund is processed, depending on the bank or payment provider. This is an estimated banking period and does not delay the Company’s initiation of the refund process.
15.4 Where a return is requested solely because the customer has changed their mind, a return collection fee of QAR 25 may apply after management has approved that fee. Dismantling or transport charges may also apply to large products where needed. No such charges shall be imposed where the product is defective or the Company is at fault.
15.5 The amount actually paid will be refunded, with promotional discounts and bundled products handled fairly. This store does not operate a loyalty points program under these Terms.
16. Returns, Exchanges, and Warranties for Gaming Products
16.1.1 The Company allows 14 days from receipt to request a return or exchange due to a change of mind, provided that the customer has not actually used or damaged the product, all parts, cables, and accessories are complete, and the product is in a condition suitable for resale.
16.1.2 Opening the packaging solely for reasonable inspection does not, by itself, justify rejecting the request. The order number or other proof of purchase and photographs of the condition may be requested where needed, subject to a fair and prompt inspection.
16.1.3 Gaming chairs: Where included in the relevant model’s specifications, the product comprises the base, wheels, armrests, cushions, footrest, vibration units, and lighting. Damage caused by overloading, incorrect assembly, or use contrary to instructions is not considered a manufacturing defect.
16.1.4 Gaming desks: Customers should consider dimensions before ordering. All included parts, screws, shelves, cup holders, headphone holders, controllers, and cables must be returned. Damage caused by overloading or improper assembly will be assessed separately.
16.1.5 Gaming headsets: Claims relating to defects or non-conformity are accepted without exception. A change-of-mind return may be refused following actual use if the headset is no longer suitable for resale for hygiene reasons or because of its condition, in accordance with the law.
16.1.6 Keyboards and gaming mice: Returns are accepted within the specified period where the general conditions are met, including the return of all connectors, wireless receivers, and original accessories. Opening the box for inspection alone does not constitute use.
16.1.7 Mouse pads and gaming accessories: Products must be in sound condition, neither soiled nor damaged, and must meet the conditions for resale. Manufacturing defects remain subject to consumer rights.
16.1.8 Bundled products or items supplied as a set: The completeness of all components will be taken into account, and any discount conditional upon purchasing the set will be recalculated fairly.
16.2 Warranty: Manufacturer or distributor warranties and any commercial warranties documented on the product invoice or product page shall apply, without reducing the customer’s rights below the mandatory minimum provided by Qatari law. No specific warranty period is assumed for a particular model unless expressly advertised.
16.3 If a defect arises during the warranty period, the product will be inspected and the repair, replacement, or compensation due will be provided according to the nature of the case and the law. Paid maintenance may be offered after the warranty expires or where misuse is established, once the customer has been informed of the cost.
16.4 If the Company assembled a product before delivery, the right to return is not lost merely because the packaging was opened or the product was assembled by the Company. Proof of exchange or a credit note will be issued where necessary.
17. Payment Methods
17.1 The payment methods actually displayed at checkout are available and may include electronic payment through MyFatoorah and cash on delivery where enabled for the order and delivery area.
17.2 Electronic payment is subject to the payment gateway’s security procedures. The Company does not request full card numbers or security codes through WhatsApp.
17.3 If a customer uses a card denominated in another currency, the bank may apply its own exchange rate or fees beyond the store’s control.
18. Changes to the Terms
18.1 These Terms may be updated for operational or legislative reasons, with the date of the most recent update published.
18.2 The Terms in force when an order was placed apply to that order. A later update shall not diminish a right already acquired by the customer, except to the extent required by law.
19. Suspension or Closure of Accounts
19.1 An account may be suspended or closed for a material breach, fraud, or misuse after appropriate procedures have been followed, without prejudicing any refund due, complaint, or legal right.
20. Company Responsibilities and Safe Use
20.1 The Company provides its products and services with reasonable care and does not exclude any liability that the law prohibits it from excluding.
20.2 Customers are requested to follow usage instructions and load limits, connect electrical devices to an appropriate power supply, avoid exposing RGB equipment and cables to water or tampering, and not exceed the specified power rating.
20.3 Technical failures or circumstances beyond the Company’s control do not release it from its duty to communicate reasonably and address their effects on rights relating to existing orders.
21. General Provisions, Data Protection, and Disputes
21.1 Personal data is used in accordance with the Privacy Policy published on the website and applicable Qatari law.
21.2 These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Customers may first contact the Company to resolve a complaint or refer the matter to the competent consumer-protection authorities.
21.3 Failure by the Company to exercise a right on one occasion does not constitute a permanent waiver of that right. No term may be amended so as to diminish a mandatory consumer right.
21.4 Where an obligation cannot be performed due to force majeure, reasonable steps will be taken to notify the other party and mitigate the impact, while preserving the legal rights of each party.
